echdaviem
well i had a problem with my tranny mount that is was all messed up. pretty much nothing holding the tranny down. ididn't want to pay a fortune for a new mount and i couldn't find a good one at the jy so i set off for some options. i found some mounting thingies at a local surplus store and this is what i came up with. i had to fabricate the lower part of the mount but i managed to make it work. what do you think? Darren
That's a very fancy-@$$ mount. I think you should have used the old one going bad as a reason to swap in an AX-15.
james750
Cool idea! I'd watch your motor mounts closely though. I've heard of mismatched motor and tranny mounts (ex. Rubber engine mounts, poly trans mounts) blowing each other up since they don't move together since they are made of different materials.
