drivers side window replacement.....help please

drivers side window smashed

i took new one off from the junkyard, but i just ripped and bent metal until it came out

 

now....i have my truck apart and can't seem to figure out how to install it.

 

anyone know how..

 

oh yeah, this is STERLING STINGER....my other account is messed up

First you need to remove the vent window frame and forward track. There are two torx screws at the top of the door frame and a bolt inside the door. Remove the vent window frame and forward track by tilting it back then pulling it out. Now you will have the room need to slide in the window. While you are in there you may want to change the window seals and lube the window regulator track. :brows:

 

and make sure you remove all the broken glass so you do not get a clogged drain hole and start rusting out the bottom of the door later :wall:

thats wierd, i posted this eons ago....the window was smashed out 2X since then!!!
