BPD
Hello, I'm new to the comanche club. I have an 88 4X4 that is in pristine condition. It is my old car from college and I have just never let it go. It is at a point where it need new shocks, tires everything and I have never done any customization on it. I'm thinking about doing a 2" lift and then putting some bigger wheels tires on for starters. Additionally I gave my rear bumper a nice v shape pulling out a tree stump several months back. I' would like to replace it with a tubular bumper that is a little more beefy. Where do you guys go for these parts and what would you recommend? Automan2164
First off, welcome to the group. Next, we need to find out what you want to do with your comanche. What size tires do you think you'll want? What will the truck be used for? Bumpers can be found... I forgot the name of the people making custom ones though... But you won't find a "new" tube bumper. DJM/78
Welcome !! I have a 2" rubicon express lift, I love the ride ,but you can only get up to 31 " tires to work even w/ mild rubbing on the inside fender. However I went to a 31x10" wheel . I just can't do any real off-roading, until I get a better kit .
