bkdrocks
I'm looking at a 1988 Comanche a guy has for sale,The guy has swapped out the interior including the dash.He has the original dash and the VIN on it and the radiator support match and match the title but the one on the new dash is different,is there another location the VIN is stamped on the cab or the frame just to make sure I'm getting the same truck as the VIN.Thanks
Automan2164
Look behind the bumper on the front of the frame... The serial number will be there... (The last cluster of numbers of the VIN).... Also, look on the stickers under the hood, and the driverside door. Rob L.
bkdrocks
Thanks I will look tomottow afternoon.I looked at the sticker in the door jamb and looked at everything I could under the hood, all I saw with the same VIN as title was a aluminum tag on the core support the matched.I can always swap the original dash back in if I can find the vin on the frame where you pointed me to. Just a little gun shy buying something that didnt look right... One more question will a Cherokee lift work on a Comanche from the same year??? Again thanks for the help,if I get it I will post pics as soon as it stops raining.......
