beaterjeep
Beaterjeep has one... Used to be mine.... :wall: Rob L. It's also staying mine, sorry akamcbird. And sorry Rob, you said I could take it, so I did. It's a great addition to Baby too. :D It will in the future have a hole cut into the driver's side of it though. :brows:

CRF136N
stock on the 'street' models If you are referring to the "streetcomanche", they did not come with them. I am almost 100% sure they were an aftermarket item. -James
akamcbird
all the pics of streetcomanches ive seen have them so thats what i assumed. was the street from the jeep factory or outsourced like duallys?
jbhill
lund used to make them in fiberglass, i think they are urethane now if they still make em. they create a terrible blind spot.
CRF136N
all the pics of streetcomanches ive seen have them so thats what i assumed. was the street from the jeep factory or outsourced like duallys? Outsourced through Archer Brothers Racing. Its possible it was an option, but both mine (#54) and #24 didn't have them; I have seen 1 (unknown #) in Sacramento without one, #66 without one and another unknown # in a junkyard without one...so that is my assumption :dunno: I have to agree with JBHILL on the Lund. I would contact them and see if they can help you any. -James

MoparMatt77
Those were made by Mopar for Dodge Dakota and Jeep Comanche as a Dealer Add-on item. Prolly made by lund back then. I believe that you could special order them on the trucks new too.
MoparMatt77
These would be cool if they were roll bars. with light bar mounts. That would be more durable, no blind spot, and still leave bed space.
fiatslug87
Shelby Dakota's had something similar. In '90 when I was looking for my Comance one dealer tried to get me to buy one of these since he didn't have any Comanches.
