  1. I'm having trouble locating a Filler Neck Replacement. I'm not looking for the hose. I want the metal filler with the overflow/breather piece. If someone could provide me with a pn or link to a replacement. It would be greatly appreciated. 1992 Jeep Comanche 4.0L, Ax15, SB, 18 gallon Tank
  2. I was told by somebody at a gas station that a Ford Ranger sport bed would fit on the short box Comanche. Could any one confirm that? I haven't seen anything about it in my searches. My bed is pretty rotted up on the sides. Should I look for a ranger bed or repair the sides? I don't have a big budget by any means. Lol. It needs the outer walls above the wheels and the inner wheel well on one side, maybe both. I was thinking for a repair that pop riveting or welding sheet metal bent/cut to shape on both sides would work nice. After cutting the rot out of course, and make them the same on both sides so it doesn't look absolutely terrible. Any thoughts?
  3. Would a Xj rocker fit a Mj? i know some alterations will have to be done but will they look the same? I will probably go to the pick a part or a JY and cut one out of a Xj. Any suggestions ideas on how to make this easier? Its rusted out along the full length on one of my Mjs and i have a rust hole on the other as well!! :fs1: I don't wanna take a pic my DD Mjs rust spot. I'm still in denial even though its now a fifty cent piece sized hole!!! :wall:
  4. Hello! So my '87 MJ sportruck had a slew of issues last summer and has been sitting in my drive way ever since. Right now it won't go into gear, so I'm assuming the clutch needs to be replaced (hopefully not the entire trans, I'll start with the clutch and go from there) I have the new clutch, but I don't know how to replace it exactly, I used to have a link to a DIY tutorial, but can't seem to find it anymore. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! :) Ciao, Ian 1987 Comanche Sportruck, 5 speed. 4.0L inline 6
  5. As part of my build I deceided to take a look at getting my gas tank ready for installation (way down the road). I drained the old fuel, removed all the hoses, the sending unit, etc... and after taking it outside to flush it out I realized (for the first time) that it has a pretty big dent in the bottom of the tank. Since my tank is dented I'm considering replacing it with another used tank. If I replace it with another used tank, I'd love to find one that: 1. Has a larger capacity. 2. Isn't as tall. Ideally I'd love to be able to mount the tank between the frame rails. 3. Obviously the tank will have to be longer/wider to accomdate #1 and #2. Does anyone know of a tank that might fit my needs? Any tips/suggestions on what I need to know before doing this?
