  1. Hello there! This is my first post here, so go easy on me if I'm missing anything! That being said, here's the situation: my 1990 Comanche Pioneer has many cracks throughout the dashboard. For those that have gone this route, any advice on repairing the cracks versus just replacing it with a dash from a same-year xj? Follow-up, is it possible to replace the dash with a same-year xj? I had seen some other threads regarding post 96 swap, and some mentioning of firewall differences between 4.0 and previous engine set-ups. Any help is appreciated, I just want to get in the process of starting to restore it while I have time on my hands.
  2. Hi. Got a '92 4.0 manche. Stock engine. I've been hearing my water pump squawk at me recently, so gotta start thinking about replacing it. All the research I do is confusing. All I'm trying to do is replace my stock water pump with something a little better if advised....like a Hepco. Is this an upgrade? I don't want to start a holy war. If it's sketchy and a stock one will do the trick more efficiently, where do I get one that won't poop out on me in 1 month? Is any old brand off Amazon okay? Mopar? Many thanks!
  3. So I am just about DONE with these vaccum leaks. So I have decided that I would replace all the hard vaccum line with new rubber vaccum line. I have found some Gates vaccum line from O'Reillys that seems would work. I am asking if anyone else has done this and if so what brand did they use? Here is the lines I'm looking at: http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/search/Vacuum+Hose/N0890/C0222.oap Hopefully this will fix my rough idle issue. I also plan on moving that vaccum canister more towrads the back firewall.
