  1. Hello all, Just putting the finishing touches on the dash switch trim covers and am looking to see what versions everyone would be most interested in via poll. Just want to get an idea of how many of each to work on first. These are hand made, multi layered switch trim covers for the obsolete and hard to find factory options. Please see images below for examples of the switch layouts. These will be VERY similar to factory though I won’t say identical. Every effort has been made to reproduce the logos and text according to factory. Original models were vector traced and scanned to be as true to the original as possible. The logos will shine through just like factory and light dispersion and color will be very close to the original. Each cover is hand made in multiple layers (just my wife and I working in these) and take some time to produce.
  2. I've started designing a new chassis wiring harness for my truck; partially in preparation for a tdi swap and partially because I've grown to really like wiring and electrical systems and just want it all fresh. I see there's a green fusible link feeding power to the switch and there's two outputs that feed the "run" position (one also feeds the "acc" position.) By counting the fuse ratings on the circuits fed by these two I come up with 32 amps on the "run only" output and almost 90 amps on the "run and acc" circuit! Am I crazy or is that really high?! The next question would be are these two portions of the switch rated to carry different amounts... I believe this is all GM stuff btw.
  3. I've searched our forums and did not find this as a topic. And only occasionally has it come up indirectly. What factory Switch Pod options were available for our trucks? Years make a difference etc? What I've found or seen: Left side of steering wheel: Fog Only Fog / Bed light Fog / Rear Defrost (Cherokee) Rear Defrost only Right Side of Steering Wheel: Trans Power Comfort Only Trans Power Comfort / Rear Wiper (cherokee) Roll Bar Light Switch Any other Options out there?
