Have tried PBR, busted my brake-over bar twisted a monkey wrench, tried using heat with a hand torch using Bernzomatic MAP/PRO GAS. Even heated it up for 15min and threw cold water on it. That would give it a rapid expiation and contraction rate and possibly break it free. It was a no go. Any ideas would be appreciated. The truck has 136,000 on it and the hud is grinding. DirtyComanche Posted August 16, 2017 Share Posted August 16, 2017 Impact. Or a good breaker bar (3/4" drive or larger) with the proper 36mm socket. Went ahead turned it the opposite way to tighten and l herd a pop. Put the impact on it and alternated with reverse and forward for about 45 seconds. It finally broke lose and spun off. Wow what a relief. Going to apply some anti-seize on this puppy. Hope the other sides not like this ordeal. Thanks for the input.
