banshee Posted October 5, 2015 Share Posted October 5, 2015 Gents Driving down the road if I put pedal more than say half way down motor starts cutting out, runs smooth at an idle, and seems to run smooth up to that point them nothing? teamsmith Posted October 8, 2015 Share Posted October 8, 2015 Sounds like the fuel pump can't keep up. I have that problem when I get down to about 3/8 of a tank and my pump starts running loud enough to hear in the cabin. I think I installed the pump at a bad angle in my tank and it looses pickup.
