Injen Air Tube

Recommended Posts

Picked up an Injen polished aluminum air tube on Ebay for cheap. The seller didn't know what it fit. It looked like it might work for me, I made him an offer and got it. It fits fine after a little massaging, and adds a bit more bling to the engine compartment.

Got a 12HP gain with the 01 manifold on the stroker:  http://www.jeepstrokers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=387

I notice a lot of butt-dyno experts here claim there's no gain from the new manifold and other add-ons, but that's just BS if you don't test it with something more accurate than your butt.  :rotfl2:

I've got three 1991 motors with the late model intake and 4 hole injectors.  I noticed an increase in power each time.

The improved belt tension adjustment setup is enough reason for the mod in my opinion.  Especially when the parts can be found cheap at the local pic-n-pull.

Really? 12HP? That's an awesome improvement, think it would be something similar on a 4.0 with cold air, high flow header and exhaust? I can get one out of a JY for $10, would all my vac lines, power steering pump and fuel rail bolt right up?
