Anyone have a how to on the ball joints for a 86 4x4 xls?

if you have a Harbor Freight near you they have the tool to press the jounts out. http://www.harborfreight.com/3-in-1-bal ... 38335.html

Thank you so much man! I'm off to find my camera so maybe my work can help others learn. also so everyone can see what happened with my recent fender bender :fs1:

I just did mine on my '86 2wd. They are not easy to press out and in, but its doable. Autozone and Oreilly's have loaner tools and you can borrow a ball joint press. Make sure to also get all the specialty press adapters for Chevy/Honda/etc. There's no Jeep adapter there, but you can make the others work. Neither store realized they had the adapters until I pointed to them on there loan-a-tool brochure.
